Description
Here’s another list, gathering up Lutheran Pro-Life Resources for you and your family.
Curriculum
Teaching for Life – Sunday School/Preschool offers a positive set of nine lessons with reproducible graphics to help teach pro-life concepts. Although it is geared toward a class setting, for $10, it is affordable for Lutheran homeschoolers also.
Reading Material
(Arranged in order of younger to older)
Alive Before You Were Born: God’s Gift of Life by Kim Bestian is a “simple-concept illustrated children’s book” about the relationship between God and every child, from the moment of conception.
God’s Gift of Family by Brenda Jank gives thanks for families for all families.
The January 2013 issue of Lutheran Witness focused on life issues, and you can find that as a download here under Documents and Writings.
Also on that page, John Pless offers A Small Catechism on Human Life, a free download of about 100 pages, examining abortion, bioethic, end-of-life, and sexuality issues via Luther’s Small Catechism. Also available in Spanish and Russian. It includes both text and discussion questions. Appropriate for junior high, high school, and adult study.

Grounded in God’s Word: Commentaries on Life offers commentary on topics including moral worth, abortion, evolution, suffering, life and death decisions, biblical manhood and womanhood, and other sanctity of life issues, as grounded in Scripture.
(Lutherans for Life also offers a wide variety of booklets, available through their site or CPH, including How Luther Nailed It on Life Issues. Lutherans for Life also offers supplements like Lenten devotions.)

Other Things to Know
Many congregations hold a Life Sunday, once a year, and many pregnancy centers also have resources, including little shops staffed by volunteers.
Finally, here’s an article by Students for Life of America: “Students for Life of American Finds Planned Parenthood Infiltration at Christian Colleges & Universities Widespread.” Thankfully, the Lutheran schools listed are either ELCA or independent and vary loosely tied to its historically Lutheran roots.
