Family Devotional Life

Every family has a family devotional life. The question is, what is your family devotional life directed to? It is humbling to think about, really. Still, as Christians we have the assurance that we are not saved by our devotional life but by Christ! Let’s be intentional, not only about teaching our children right and wrong, facts and principles. Let’s incorporate Christ and the Word of God into our home lives.

As Lutherans, let’s especially take care to be in the means of grace, at church and as we are able at home, practicing the forgiveness of sins, and distinguishing Law and Gospel.
